SOUTH AFRICA FOLLOWS THE REST OF AFRICA

SOUTH AFRICA IS NOW TRULY AFRICAN Apartheid was placed on the statute books of South Africa in 1948 in South Africa and it was dismantled in 1994. Thus for a period of 46 years South Africa was ruled by a white minority Government. Freedom in South Africa has now been going for 14 years, and 14 years later it’s safe to say that South Africa has now finally joined the ranks as a truly African Country. 1. South Africa only has 20% of electricity in the day. 2. Rats were found eating the New Born Babies at the Groote Schuur State Hospital in the Cape where Professor Christiaan Barnard did the world’s first heart transplant in 1967. 3. 100% of all the tarmac roads that are not privatized i.e. toll roads are downright dangerous with potholes that can ruin a car’s suspension. 4. The employment rate is estimated to be between 38 – 40%. 5. The Matriculation Pass rate has steadily dropped since 2000 when the new education policy was established with so called Outcomes Based Education where pupils cannot really be failed anymore. 6. The crime and violent crime rate has shot up into the stratosphere so much so that the Minister of Safety and Security is now refusing to release Police crime Statistics to the public because it is seen as alarmist! For example our President to be, Zuma was involved in a Rape Case which he won and the rape situation is endemic in South Africa on all levels of society. Babies as young as 6 months old are reportedly raped REGULARLY. 7. Prior to 1994 all South African Tertiary Educational attainments were accepted by the Governments of the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK for Immigration and work purposes. All degrees received after 1994 are now scrutinized because up to 37% of all degrees are obtained fraudulently and the rest are deemed as sub standard by the Immigration Authorities of the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. 8. Fraud within the new South African Government and miss appropriation of funds have shot into endemic proportions and the sentences meted out actually makes fraud in government circles a profitable endeavor. 9. The new South African National Defense Force had a serious problem invading Lesotho of all countries in 1998 suffering more casualties in 4 hours than what the old South African defense Force suffered in Angola during operation Askari. Therefore in real terms South Africa under a new and freely elected dispensation has made great strides to join its brothers and sisters in the rest of Africa as a truly Africanized society where it is estimated by the World Bank that the average index of per capita income is still 37% below that attained in 1961! I can therefore truly look at my fellow South Africans with pride and say well done on inheriting the jewel of Africa and improving its lot so that the NGO community and the UN can come in after the world cup soccer and start feeding stations!
